2006-01-02 - 4:41 p.m. Today's quest for some old, forgotten song lyrics sent me looking through a milk-crate full of my ancient journals: endless pages of lyric fragments, stories, daily musings and angst, dating as far back as 1993. I never found the lyrics I set out to find, but I did discover a poem I'd written about 12 years ago, all about how lunch--not breakfast--is the most exciting meal of the day. So, people can change. My Top Ten list is really hard to assemble, since I've gotten it narrowed down to about 35 albums. What can I say--it was a great year for albums. thoughts?
