2006-04-20 - 12:58 p.m. "Crinkly" is a nice word. It's really spring, isn't it? No joking around, no take-backs, no pop snow storms? I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love, the memoirs of a woman's year of travel and self-discovery after a painful divorce, and it is sweet and funny springtime subway reading. She starts out in Italy, then goes on to India and Indonesia... I'm a-listenin' to Bruce's new album of Pete Seeger covers. It's an admirable idea, and will please many people, but I wish he hadn't kicked off the record with "Old Dan Tucker" which a) features a vocal take that will scare the children and b) reminds me uncomfortably of Mr. Edwards from Little House on the Prairie. thoughts?
