I am mad at Grant Lee Phillips, cuz on his new album of '80s covers, he does two of my favorite songs, which I have always wanted to cover myself: "Wave of Mutilation" (revisioned as a laconic shuffle) and "I Often Dream of Trains" (now a gossamer waltz homage to "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away"). He totally ripped me off.

However, normal people will most likely find pure enjoyment in this collection, which also features songs by New Order, Echo & the Bunnymen, REM, and the Smiths.
