2007-01-30 - 9:29 a.m. Shh...Knut is sleeping, alongside Decoy Knut... I'm intrigued, but don't know quite what to make of, this duo called Tunng. It's folk, it's electronica, but it's not "folktronica" cuz they seem to like to keep the hot parts hot and the cool parts cool. I do like the singer's voice, which often recalls Beck's basso. This Geoff Reacher fellow pulls off a similar trick: country-blues with little Frankenstein bolts of electronic squawking and beats. I...approve, if not outright like. thoughts?
