2007-02-24 - 11:45 a.m. I am about halfway through Andy Summers's autobiography and I am really enjoying it. I assume it's not ghostwritten--it seems far too lyrical to be so. But it's very observant, humane, reflective; a real memoir as opposed to a chatty entertainment bio. I am impressed. And of course, it is incredibly inspiring--this guy loves music, and loves to write about music, and just reading this makes me remember key moments in my musical awakening, too, both as a fan and a perpetrator.
