Here I add my voice to the chorus of praise for Once, an utterly charming film that captures the romance of music, of recording, of being broke and dream-fueled, of the instant emotional intimacy that music (and loneliness) can create, and the heady fumes of new friendship. Some contrived moments pop up, easily forgiven in light of its earnest attempt to tell a real story.

And that statue of Phil Lynott is pretty cool.
