As a former Catholic, raised entirely in the post-Vatican 2, Kumbaya-singin', "let's rap about Jesus" era, I have to admit that I'm intrigued by the Latin Mass. It appeals to that tiny sliver of goth in my soul, the one that used to enjoy singing the bouncy hymn "Eat his body/ drink his blood/and we'll sing the word of love/sing halelu-u-u-u-u-u-u-jah!".

Just that sliver, though. This portends odd things otherwise.


Semi-relatedly, I am also intrigued by this French duo Elend, who could be described as chamber goth. It's moody horror-movie score music for those grey days...
