2007-09-26 - 10:50 a.m. I missed this story last week, so in case you did, too: Barry Manilow is totally cool. It's not a contest or anything, but yesterday I was remarking on how delightful Carla Bley's website is, how it reflects her kooky joie de vivre, and today I checked out Annette Peacock's site (she was Paul Bley's wife after Carla) and was kind of put off by the seriousness of it. I haven't listened to enough of either woman's music to know whose I prefer, if either, but in the great website reckoning I'm afraid that Mrs Bley #1 wins.
