2008-05-01 - 11:46 a.m. I can't remember if I've linked to this bfob before, but Singer Saints is a nice source for hard-to-find vinyl albums rendered digitally, with nice write-ups. A question for the far-flung: Do they have Chock Full O'Nuts cafes outside of NYC? As mediocre as their store-bought coffee is, the stuff from the real-live joint is great--quite rich and almost chocolate-y. Plus they have these weird handmade treats: a hunk of cream cheese sandwiched between two planks of greasy date nut bread. Compelling and awful at the same time. Dubloooons!
