Anyone who ever read and loved the Little House books (as opposed to the mediocre show and let's not even discuss the musical) may remember some talk of bundling in the later books.

What a strange and interesting dating practice. Let's revive it for the 21st Century!


I love the whole Carthy Family, and was pleased to see that Eliza Carthy has a newish album, and it's really fiery and melodramatic and fun, with violins, accordions, tubas, and Carthy's rich, quavering voice that resembles, in turn, both of her parents'. Good lyrics, too.

Is it folk music? Eliza answers.
