The ape/monkey news in the past 6 months or so has been filled with revenge-seeking coconut-hurling monkeys, weapons stockpiling chimps, and of course the horrible incident in Connecticut. National Geo's stay list is rife with great lodging suggestions for the conscious traveler I cannot stop playing with these photo-finding apps!! Ingenius. Cool things are happening at the BPL this month, including a Sarah Vowell reading and stuff with puppets! Have succumbed, partially, to Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion. I can only listen in small doses (or half-listen for longer), but it's uplifting while it's happening...
