writing one good song is still more of an undefined for me. But anyway all you need to do now to complete the theory of the universe and everything is to calibrate these results to endorphins produced from each process. Or if that is too solipsistic for you, how many brownie points you get for each. Brownie point=f(x) � 0.75.

Endorphins produced by each of these acts is proportional to the energy expended. Nothing makes me feel better than finishing a song that I like, but it takes so much more effort than, e.g., running for 4 miles, which feels good. And feeling good (enough) is often an easy substitute for feeling great. (Sulking, while using up fewer energy units, is also fun.)

My table was a reminder to myself to seek out joy rather than mere pleasure. I keep forgetting...
