I don't know if I really like the snow, it was really rough out there last nite. But I like how it seems to throw us back in time, almost, to a world where we live in our immediate environment, we go where we can trudge to. And we hunker. I just need a fireplace, or a fireplace MPG for my 'puter.

I like the hunkering and the trudging, too. Today I trudged out to buy a mop and sponges, which made me feel even more earthy and purposeful. (As opposed to trudging out to buy heroin, for example, or stock in Pfizer.)

We went to Sheepshead Bay and got Borsch (I always thought it was borscht) at a Russian place w/black bread. Perfect, except for waiting for the train at an outdoor platform on the way back!

I love Sheepshead Bay. And borsch(t). I've seen both spellings--transliterating Russian results in lots of spelling variations. But no matter how ya spell it: yum(m)!
