It was a pretty fun movie, but ity sort of only makes sense backwards, why would KS expose himself with an otherwise truthful and accurate account of the whole story (the whole movie) simply to remove himself. Maybe he wouldn't, but that was the whole movie you just watched, which is kind of annoying, I hope I'm not giving anything away when I say the same kind of self negation (if a movie can be a self) was annoying, finally, in "The swimming Pool"

Yes, it was a good yarn, but so fanciful and improbable and stagey (was it a play first, mebbe?).

I didn't see "Swimming Pool" but now I don't have to. :)

I thought "Swimming Pool" was much better than "The Usual Suspects." It's worth a rental, if for no other reason than you can spend two hours imagining that you have a beautiful rustic home in the French countryside. (Bonus for men: serious amounts of female nudity.)

I'm lousy at guessing twist endings, but I succeeded with "The Usual Suspects.

A while back I had the choice at a small-town art theater between "Winged Migration" and "The Swimming Pool." I chose the former. I'm not sure how many guy points I lose for that, but it's got to be non-zero.

I was hoping it would be so much better then it was, but I thought the last 30 minutes was great. I did'nt see the ending coming at all, but I thought the line that Kevin Spacey said about the devil was great.
