Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is a much better song than White Christmas. Unfortunately, Judy Garland changed the lyrics in the movie to give it a brighter tone, so that the heartwrenching lines: "Someday soon we all will be together/If the Fates allow/Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow" was changed to "Through the years we all will be together/If the Fates allow/ Hang a shining star on the highest bough."

Interesting. I like both lines, actually--the Zen approach (acceptance of life's darkness) and the Yogic approach (visualzing a transcendent reality.)

You know your (their) product... my cousin Lissa, a thirty something, has about made a career out of writing for teen media... and of course didn't even start to do so 'til she was out of college... a sort of 'professional teen', I guess.
