I'm glad that someone else likes insane variety in their albums! Oddly, though, we only went one for four in the albums you cite in the entry: on the homogenous-but-Paula-endorsed tip, Give Up prompted me to do just that; Moss Elixir (which we've discussed elsewhere) seems only OK to me; and I don't own a Ween album, having never figured out if I'd actually enjoy them for more than a song or two. However, Mutations is superb, and as far as dark, depressing Beck albums go, it wipes the floor with the far more homogenous Sea Change.

I meant to note the transition from "homogenous" (Give Up) to "insane variety" (the other three) but neglected to do so. I wish Dairyland let users edit their comments, or at least preview 'em before posting...
