But it looks like there's a fairly contentious Dem primary in your hood, Paula. I tried to read the Gotham Gazette Guide's coverage of it, and it sounds like a very complicated race. Good luck with that!

Where I'm at, we've got three good Dems vying for a congressional seat. That's the main race. Republicans get to figure out which right-wing demogogue tries to beat Russ Feingold (which I very much hope does not happen). One of them owns a bunch of regional car dealerships...and wunchaknowit, all of a sudden that dealership (named after him) seemingly doubled its advertising budget, so you see his name all over the place. Coincidence, I'm sure.

Hey - I can beat your phone messages: I came home this afternoon, and there was JFK's voice on my machine. Okay, it was a recording...from another candidate named Kennedy, taking advantage of the (purely nominal) connection. I'm not even in his district though.
