I noticed that on one of my most favorite compositions, there is actually a tiny piano gaffe that I had never heard before. It made me think; for, if I were the piano player, I would faint and moan and hear only the gaffe in that song for ever and ever. Yet in reality the offending note is just No Big Deal. The moral of the story, in my book, is not to take everything so seriously and just relax and have a good time. I feel like having some sangria. Sangria, anyone?

I noticed on the train this morning that the lyrics on the chorus to GBV's "Glad Girls" (Hey hey glad girls/only wanna get you high) could be interpreted as adddressing the glad girls (that is, the singer only wants to get the girls high) rather than as descriptive of the glad girls. I prefer this new reading.
