Hey, a friend of ours donated his car to the helper monkeys! I always envision a family of spider monkeys living in his ride.

Doug did something similar with his van The Behemoth, only the donation went toward Boston Area Rape Crisis Center. I wish more people would donate their cars. Especially SUVs.

Joe & I donated our old Ford Taurus to the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF). I keep reading that the charities don't actually get that much money out of it, and that it's better to sell the car yourself and give the proceeds to your favorite charity, but I can't tell you how *easy* it was just to have someone come and haul it away, and take care of all the DMV paperwork. I highly recommend it.
