speaking of literary wives who are writers in their own right, have you seen the booklog Ayelet Waldman (michael chabon's wife) keeps on her website? woman is a serious overachiever! she has read Vida's book, too.

I was just reading about her (and all the mommy bloggers--fake phenomenon! fake phenomenon!) in the Times yesterday. I used to have a bunch of famous-writer blogs and celebrity blogs bookmarked, but I find myself losing interest after a while. I really just want to know what my friends are doing, and a couple of other random bloggers.

Michael Chabon, Dave Eggers, and Daniel Handler all live (or lived - not sure where Eggers is now) in the Bay Area, and all know each other, so it's not surprising that Ayelet (very funny woman) would've read Vendela's book.
