I'm annoyed by the letter from the company that wants to use the word "World-class" in their marketing copy, spelled just that way, and claims that it has "special meaning" for them. I thought the Chicago folks were too nice about that. Really, those people should be shamed in some spectacular fashion.

"World-class" means "we are idiotic sheep using utterly meaningless phrases hoping to ensnare even more-idiotic sheep into believing that our crap is better than other people's crap because we use utterly meaningless phrases." But, as you see, "World-class" is much shorter.
