This weekend I stumbled across a concise, eloquent guide to meditation by Will Johnson. Pithy and brief--with an intro and afterword, the whole thing comes to just 100 pages--it says everything there needs to be said about the basic mechanics of meditating, with some subtle philosophy thrown in, too.
...to eat a merguez sandwich from Bacchus...
...and to stroll around people-watching...
...while drinking Cote du Rhone from a go-cup.
