8's not too bad, it's just infinity sideways what could be simpler? (I know the top should be a little smaller, but really, it can be chalked up to allowable variation in handwriting style). Now 5, I'm just startin' to get the hang of that, for a while, I was adding the top line last, very slow, and prone to imprecision, now I've got it, one awkward (by necessity) jagged stroke.

3 gives me trouble. It's that doubling back bit: it often ends up looking like an indecisive backwards capital C, or a 7 that had second thoughts about going straight down to the bottom. I just thank the gods of alphabets that we don't have a letter like the Cyrillic shcha - I mean, do you really need one letter for all those consonant sounds, plus throwing that little tail on the W is odd. Oh, and the letter (whose name I forget) that makes the "zh" sound in Russian? It's sorta like a rounded-off X with a slash straight down the middle? Cool!

I am incapable of writing anything anymore, it seems, without a keyboard. A grocery shopping list is about as much as I can manage, and it's still often only partly decipherable. This is why it wil take me about 5 yrs to finish writing my thank you notes for my wedding and baby, because last I checked, it was still considered gauche not to handwrite those.

I can write 8... but I can't communicate, apparently, cuz the other day people thought that I was implying that Credence barely being able to pull off Credence a lot of the time was dismissive. For the record, I don't think they (or others) pull off "Proud Mary", but I do think they barely reach base or home plate spiritually? on a lot of their best material... and I APPROVE of their attempting to do so.
