sorry to hear about the pups having so much trouble. But I have to admit that the main thing that keeps me from getting a dog in NYC, is the amount of attention one must pay to their colonic activities. I am a big fan of the canine front end, and even the mid-section, the toothy grins in a furry face, the horizontality...

You know I do have a theory that our aquired aversions, to poop, insects, bacteria, could well be our downfall, representing as they do, our absurd attempts to distance ourselves from the organic world. And if night-soil in particular isn't allowed to be the quality fertilizer that it is, intead systematically dis-purposed, as waste, we will end up in a literally sterile world.
