Newsmap isn't quite Chuck Minard (http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/minard), but I think it's a pretty interesting and attractive way to convey quite a bit of information. Apparently, it could also double as Mallonbane, if the need ever presented itself.

So, that book, what's the jist? is power defined as something acumulated over time? something that becomes almost inate, whereas force, when used, dissapates power? just guessing.
