Holy cats, how could I have spent so many years on earth without having encountered that "Tiger Feet" song? "Youve got your hips swinging out of bounds"? "Ive got a feeling in my knees / Its a feeling only you can please "??? I'm plotzing here. And I think you need to cross-ref this entry with the Double-Effster's recent ones!

You're a strange girl, Paula. That's a good thing.

While I admire such an aesthete (or whatever the word is) in an abstract way, this seems a little too Puritanical. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive, because when recording stuff recently I always wind up listening to each song too often, to make sure a poorly grounded turntable is working well enough, and the levels are right, and all I seem to get out of it is a piece of plastic. (But then when checking gaps and flow, I do find enlightenment, or at least refreshment, with the fast forward button, particularly if it's a variable speed one on a dvd/cd player, cuz it gives you legible snippets but with an entirely new beat, and even some new words. [With the various f.f. speeds on a dvd/cd player you can have four entirely new arrangements.]) (Probably just a palliative measure, but at the time it seems there ought to be entire radio stations devoted to that format.) (But not to your format, unless the dj needs some serious bathroom time.) (Not that you implied that mass enlightenment could work.)
