I know nothing about fly-tying - but I recall the band Lefty's Deceiver is named after one. So there's one band name.

Ah. See? I always thought Royal Coachman would be good for a 60s psych band.

In regard to red velvet cake: anyone know Cake Man Raven's in Fort Greene, Brooklyn (where red velvet cake is the house specialty)? I think it's the best dessert bakery I've ever found, by a good distance.

I've never heard of him, but he sounds awesome. I will go there this weekend. Anyone want to join me? Maybe see a film at BAM Rose?

I'm definitely planning to see Days of Being Wild (maybe Fallen Angels as well) at BAM on Sunday, and might even revisit In the Mood for Love there on Saturday. And I've gotten in the fattening habit of stopping at Cake Man Raven nearly every time I go to BAM. Any of those films sound good?
