As a guy who's been spending all his work time staring at animals lately (i've been editing a clip show for the National Geographic Channel for the last 4 or 5 months). I can agree with you that there's something fascinating about watching animals -- even if it's only on the tv. I can heartily reccommend a documentary about birds called "Winged Migration", if you havn't seen that, and anything in the "Blue Planet" series. Just astounding, but try to see them on the biggest screen you can find . . .

Tom: I now have Winged Migration queued on Netflix, even though it won't be the same on a small screen. Thanks for the tip.

Yikes, Paula and Tom talking about a zoo, how retro. Paula, I was at the prospect park zoo that day as well. Me and my brood (the three children). Did you draw a picture of the Poison dart frogs as well?

Hey, neat coincidence--I was there at about 4:00 PM, and while I didn't draw a frog, I did feed the sheep and goats, which was thrilling. My favorite house at the Zoo is "Animal Lifestyles".

I'm sure your adorable daughters were not part of the gang of kids taunting the baboons.

Taunt? We flee, as they are often engage in activities that end in way to many questions. The zoo is our stomping grounds, spending many many days there.

Whenever we see you next, Lynne's got a souvenir that memorializes her South African baboon attack to present to you!
