No, no I'm a great believer in seeing the good that sits right in the center of all that you may have written off as bad, giving us a more complete picture of life on this earthly plane.

Additionally, the cell phone is going to be less than half the cost of my land line, so I've made a purchase that helps me save money, which is one of those things I've never been good at. I am liberated, also, from the phone company (and newly dependent on an entirely different industry, 'tis true).

Wow, you ditched your land line. I'd take a cell phone if I could do that. But we're still modem-dependent at Casa Como, and probably will be for some time to come. As much as I detest and fear telephones, I'd really feel stoopid taking up 3 lines (Andy carries a cell phone as first-responder when kids get sick at school/daycare).

The Chills reaffirm that the world is a good place. First time I encountered them (belatedly - 1992 or so) was when I picked up Brave Words by mistake. I meant to get some album by some other band called The XXXXXs, long forgotten, and got confused. How lucky for me that I am a bubblehead.
