hmmm, ROBOT MONSTER, MULHOLLAND DRIVE, pasta, AND some Day-Quil? That's a New Years rockin' eve!

There's that Robot Maid we've been talking about!

Maid? Why that's a space-traveling zombie gorilla you're talkin' about, isn't it?

Yes, that is Robot Monster, he is retired now and lives in Studio City.

Good call on the Dayquil--that got me through the week, as I also had my yearly Bad Cold.

Loves me the Jonathan Carroll, and Land of Laughs in particular, I envy your ability to read it for the first time.

Alan: what else can you recommend by JC?

He has yet to disappoint, but since some his earlier work is vaguely tied to other books, I'd suggest working through chronologically. I think Voice of Our Shadow is the next one, and that's also particularly good. Outside the Dog Museum is also one I'd recommend highly. I'll warn you though, Land of Laughs is fairly unique stylistically, and the other books have different strengths.

Outside the Dog Museum

That is the best title!
