2008-05-29 - 4:38 p.m. I can forgive myself for not seeing Big Dipper when they played in Brooklyn last month, because I had my own gig that night, but it's unconscionable that they released a 3-CD box set in March and I didn�t even know... Anyway, if you are not familiar with one of the greatest Boston indie bands, from the days before "indie" was even a word (I think) listen to "She�s Fetching" (on the MySpace page) and understand. That song was an anthem of hope for girls whose awkward stages persisted stubbornly past pre-pubescence--a "My Funny Valentine" for the Option magazine set... thoughts?
